Bird

Supporting survivors, therapists, and attorneys through specialized services focused on complex trauma, dissociation, DID, OSDD, structural dissociation, assessment, and consultation.

Individual Therapy

Welcome! I provide specialized therapy for adults experiencing complex trauma, dissociation, PTSD, DID, OSDD, and related concerns. Whether you feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy offers a compassionate space to build understanding, safety, and lasting change.

Services Overview

Trauma and Dissociation Assessments

A structured clinical assessment exploring history and symptoms. It can also provide a clear clinical summary to support treatment planning, referrals, disability documentation, or coordination of care. Whether you are seeking answers or greater direction for next steps, this process is designed to support insight and care.

ProfessionalConsultation

Thank you for being here and for all you do! I provide consultation to mental health professionals and attorneys seeking a deeper understanding of trauma, dissociation, assessment findings, and case conceptualization. Consultation may support clinical decision-making, case review, diagnostic clarification, and understanding the impact of trauma-related symptoms.

Trauma and Structural Dissociation Training

Professional education options on trauma, structural dissociation, and The Nesting System Method. Trainings are designed for clinicians seeking  understanding of dissociative processes, assessment, and stabilization. Each offering integrates theory with real-world application to support confident, ethical work with complex trauma presentations and internal systems.

About

Hi! I'm Tarah Hipple-Thomas, a trauma therapist. I live in Michigan and am licensed in Michigan, Washington, Tennessee, Nevada, and South Carolina as a Licensed Master's Social Worker and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

The Nesting System Method

The Nesting System Method is a framework providing clinicians with a structured approach to understanding structural dissociation, internal system dynamics, and how to pace interventions by using slow bilateral dual attention stimulus to promote safety, stability, and internal communication and collaboration.
