Structural Dissociation Training for Therapists: The Nesting System Method, a treatment for Complex Trauma and Parts Work

Updated: 19 hours ago

For fellow therapists!

I’m really excited to share something I’ve been developing with a lot of care and intention. Over time, I’ve been building a comprehensive framework called the Nesting System Method™, designed to support our work with clients experiencing structural dissociation and complex trauma.

This approach offers a way to more clearly understand and work with internal systems, especially when parts hold different roles, needs, and levels of activation. It’s grounded in stabilization, assessment, and attunement, helping therapists pace the work in a way that supports safety, collaboration, and deeper collaboration over time.

I’m grateful to the Center for Intuitive Practices for hosting an upcoming training where I’ll be teaching this model. This training is open to therapists across modalities and levels of experience, including those who do and do not use EMDR. The focus is not on strengthening how we conceptualize and support dissociative systems so that whatever modality you use can be more effective.

You can expect practical tools, clear frameworks, and immediately applicable strategies, especially for navigating complex presentations where traditional approaches may feel like they’re missing something.

If you’re looking to deepen your work with dissociation, expand your clinical lens, and feel more grounded in working with parts, I’d love for you to join us.
